Welcome to Friends of Etruria Industrial Museum!
Following the recent announcement of budget cuts by Stoke on Trent City Council, a group of enthusiastic supporters and volunteers decided to set up a small charity to help preserve and develop Etruria Industrial Museum for the benefit of the public.
The Purpose of The Friends charity is:
to help secure the preservation, protection and improvement of Etruria Industrial Museum, the buildings and contents and particularly the engineering exhibits therein, and the surrounding area.
to advance the education of the public in the history, industrial history, geography, natural history and architecture of the Museum and the area.
to advance the education of the public by promoting, supporting, assisting and improving Etruria Industrial Museum.
to provide, or assist in providing, facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupations in the interest of the social welfare of the public.
